Accepting to Let Go
It's easier said than done! Most of us struggle to accept the very idea of letting go. Many feel it's a kind of failure, when it's simply an effective way to detach ourselves from our obsessions or abandon a completely ridiculous illusion. Letting go is, in a way, accepting that we have limits. It's also giving up the desire to control and master everything.
Focus on the present moment
We often live in a state of constant anticipation. What am I going to cook tonight? What are my plans for tomorrow? What time do I need to pick up my youngest from school? All these questions we constantly ask ourselves—almost unconsciously—prevent us from savoring the present moment. Yet, it is the present moment that makes us happy.
Learning to Breathe
Frustration, dissatisfaction, impulsiveness, and hasty societal judgments are all emotions that can negatively impact our emotional state and increase stress levels. To avoid burnout, it's best to learn to put things into perspective and relax. How? By practicing a few breathing exercises. It's simple: sit in silence and breathe deeply for a few minutes. This helps release tension.
Allowing Yourself Moments of Relaxation
Modern society tends to view leisure as a pointless waste of time. Yet, it's quite the opposite. It's a way to discover your surroundings from new perspectives, to enjoy time with loved ones, and to adopt a more open attitude towards others.
Adopt a "positive attitude"
To free yourself from the stress you're experiencing, you'll need to work on yourself. Only introspection can allow you to leave behind the emotions that are harming your morale. Stop the guilt! Stop the self-deprecation! From now on, you'll make room for serenity and self-confidence. After a while, you won't need to force it anymore!
